Booking Conditions
The booking form must be dated and signed. The clients who have booked a tour will be deemed to have read and accepted the booking conditions. THEREFORE, PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY.
The person signing the booking form warrants that he/she has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons named on the booking form and confirm that they are fully aware of and accept these conditions.
Payment terms: If your trip with us includes different tours on different islands, the tours outside Bali will on one booking form and on another one for the tours on Bali.
For tours on Bali, 30% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance will be settled upon arrival before the first tour.
For tours on the other islands, 50% deposit at the time of booking and the balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival.
Booking is effective when we have received the proof of the bank transfer order (scan by email).
Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or change any part of the tour in case of circumstances beyond our control, ex. Flood, cut road, flight cancellation, unavailable hotel… It goes without saying that we will do our utmost to organize a similar tour.
In case of force majeure that would entail a cancellation of the whole tour, either we will propose another tour of similar interest or you may be refunded up to 50% of the tour pro rata temporis with the remaining days before the tour is completed.
In case the client cancels the booking of the tour, the deposit is not refundable if the cancellation is done 30 days before the beginning of our first tour with the client and 50% of the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation takes place more than 30 days before the arrival in Indonesia.
Insurance: The client and all the members of his party must subscribe an insurance policy corresponding to the planned tour(s) and theyare wholly and individually responsible. We suggest paying your flight ticket with your credit card in order to have automatic repatriation insurance and to get the proper information from your bank regarding the guarantees.
Passport: In order to avoid any trouble in checking at your departure airport that may be a boarding denial, please make sure that your passport is valid at least 6 month at the date of your arrival in Indonesia.
Vaccinations: No specific vaccination is required in Bali or Java that are not malaria infested. However this could be the case in the Eastern islands.
Visa on arrival: For a stay less than 30 days, you will pay and get your tourist visa on arrival when your enter Indonesia (25 US$ per person). If you wish to stay longer and up to 60 days, you will have to go to the Indonesian Embassy in your country of residence.
Airport tax: You will yourself the corresponding airport tax of your domestic flight (between 3 and 5 €) and you will have to pay 150.000 IDR (about 12 €) the day you leave Indonesia.
Attention! Drugs and narcotics are strictly prohibited in Indonesia and are punishable of the death penalty.
Credit cards, travellers’ cheques: We suggest you to let your bank know you intend to go to Indonesia and possibly obtain a higher amount to withdraw at ATMs.
Although the major credit cards are accepted in many shops, some will apply an additional 3% to your bill, don’t be surprised.
Travellers’ cheques are not necessary over here; cash and credit cards are common. Major currencies are exchangeable everywhere in an official moneychanger.
Little advice: if you are under medication, bring your prescription in order to be able to find the same medicine or its equivalent.
